Portfolio > Computer Collages, 1987-1995

Starting in the late eighties, I used a Commodore 64 computer and a wax thermal printer to digitize and then print patterns and found objects. The printed sheets were then cut into various shapes and combined to make larger pieces. The use of magnification, lighting, unfocused backgrounds and odd juxtapositions created unusual settings in the pieces that produced semi-dream states that disrupted the sense of self, time and space.
