Rebecca Stuckey Visual Artist

My mixed-media, sculptural pieces are comprised of fabric, found objects, wood and text. I am especially drawn to the tactile qualities and the ephemeral nuances of textiles. On occasion, I include areas of text in my pieces as it offers another layer of contemplation for me.

In addition to my textile work, I assemble collages using photos, found objects, patterns and notes. I am greatly inspired by Japanese aesthetics, especially Wabi-Sabi, and drawn to architecture and the beauty in nature.
